We’ve been wanting to try Korean BBQ and after hearing good reviews, we went to Galbi Korean BBQ at Pinetree Village in Coquitlam. It was SO good and everything was very fresh. The meat was SO tender! We ordered two combos that came with a half-size cold buckwheat noodles: Marinated Pork Short Rib with regular cold noodles and skin-off Pork Belly with spicy cold noodles. I recently visited this restaurant and was thoroughly impressed. The marinated beef short ribs were absolutely delicious. What made the experience even more enjoyable was the exceptional service. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that our dining experience was delightful from start to finish. I highly recommend this restaurant

We finally discovered the best KBBQ in Coquitlam at Galbi! After trying several spots, this is the only place that truly got my partner excited about KBBQ. What sets Galbi apart is their focus on the quality of the meat rather than just the side dishes—a huge plus in our book. They handled our reservation quickly, and we were fortunate to snag a table before it got really busy. While the space is a bit cozy, the meal was absolutely fantastic. The marinated beef short ribs were so irresistible that we ended up ordering extra. We were expecting the bill to be around 200, but were pleasantly surprised when it came out 60 cheaper—even with the tip included. I’m definitely bringing my friends here next time. Can’t wait to come back!

Galbi is my best place for Korean BBQ in Vancouver. The meats were fresh, tender and nicely marbled also marinated short ribs were well seasoned. Excellent service and reasonable price. I usually visit 1-2times a week. Try this place if you are meat lover!

The price and quality is okay. Their combo is a good deal but not providing on weekends. We love the salad dressing. The beef is juicy and our toddler loves it too. I am fine with the service - not very passionate but it’s enough.

Beautiful, respectful service, the server had a sparkle in her eyes and she really genuinely cares about people here. the spicy beef soup is so delicious, the first thing I tried. I was so disappointed in 2 other Asian food places I used to go to in Coquitlam the past 2 days because of food quality, over priced low quality food and terrible service, and I am not one to complain. I didn't know if I would ever find a place to have Asian food other than two Coquitlam restaurants I love (Japanese and one Vietnamese).When I arrived, I was treated like VIP and very pleased with the soup, and the sides. Great food for great value. I will definitely be returning, and this might become one of my top 3 favorite restaurants here.

the meat quality here is bussin we got their pork combo with the thin sliced pork and marinated short ribs and omfg they were so GOOD. every thing was fresh and delicious service was great as well! the waitress was very attentive and was on point with checking when we're out of side dishes
